Call for Experts in the Field of Energy Transition: Contribute to ENTRA-Lab’s Research within the Just Transition Observatory Project
After the successful launch of empirical research in Bulgaria and Poland, ENTRA-Lab is now rolling out the Questionnaire in Greece as part of the Just Transition Observatory project.
The JT-OBSERVATORY is a project funded by Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation (H.F.R.I), implemented through a collaboration of three institutions from Greece (University of Western Macedonia – Leading Partner, University of Thessaly, and CERTH), as well as research organizations from Poland (Institute of Mineral and Energy Research) and Bulgaria (Regional Development Company of Stara Zagora). The project aims to establish Just Transition Observatories, which will serve as mechanisms for recording and evaluating data, trends, and dynamics, as well as as entities providing processed policy recommendations for a fair energy transition at the local level.
The project is coordinated by the ENTRA Lab research team at the University of Western Macedonia.
The main objective of the research is to explore the synergies between spatial governance, social justice, and participatory democracy through a comparative study of three coal-dependent regions: Western Macedonia (Greece), Silesia (Poland), and Stara Zagora (Bulgaria).
We therefore invite professionals from all sectors, as well as experts in energy transition issues, to contribute to our research by sharing their invaluable knowledge. Your participation will advance research for inclusive energy transitions that leave no one behind.
Your expertise and knowledge can help shape a clearer understanding of the key trends and challenges in the sector, especially as they relate to the transition to a greener and fairer economy.
Help us gather crucial data that will influence future decisions and strategies for a just transition.
The questionnaire is available in four languages (Greek, English, Bulgarian, and Polish), and it is estimated that it will take around 30 minutes to complete.
